Using Socrative at The League

If you prefer not to use pencil and paper for student checkpoints and written exams, many of them are availabe online as quizzes via Socrative.

Socrative is a free site, but you will need to create a teacher login to launch quizzes for your students. An easy way to login is via the "Sign in with Google" button on the Teacher Login page.

Before performing any of the following actions, you must be signed in to your Socrative account

  • Find the Socrative code for the checkpoint or test you want to give your students.
    E.g. Level 0, Module 1, Checkpoint 2 has code (SOC-32803612)

  • Select "Quizzes" from your Socrative menu.

  • Click on the "+ ADD QUIZ" button and select "Import" from its menu

Store the Results

The results need to be pushed up into the student repositories. This can be done in a number of different ways depending on your resources and/or permissions:

  • On Macs you can Air Drop the PDF to the student computer and have the student upload it into their repository

  • Use a USB drive to copy the PDF from your computer to the student's computer so they can upload it into their repository

  • If you have permissions to do so, you can upload the PDF directly into the student repository
